I just received a phone call from someone that once was my "best friend" turned "worst enemy" We havent spoken since October. She called to tell me that her sons's father comitted suicide yesterday. Her son just turned 16 on Monday and went by to see his dad for a short visit. I could tell that she was reaching out for something from me I could sense the need in her voice...and I know that its because she see's Jesus in me...Praise God for that! I told her that I would be in prayer for her and her son in this time of tragedy. I would appreciate the church being in prayer for them also. Her name is Melanie and her sons name is Saxon. Also be in prayer that they will find God, salvation & the truth. Her son does attend church, but is not in a truth church and she is a non-believer.

Thanks so much for the advise/input on getting help with being able to afford my medications. Sad thing is that I have prescription insurance coverage and they are still too costly to afford. We have checked all of these places and also searched online for help. The problem is that none of my medications are listed on the discounted lists at Publix, Walmart, etc...with the exception of one. There are several of them that only come in the name brand form. I am on 12 different medications at this point in time. Well actually I'm supposed to be on 12 different medications, but the ones that I was given prescriptions for recently are sitting at the drug store because there is no money to purchase them. My medical/prescription costs have become an extreme burden on our family and finances in the last few months. We appreciate all the prayers. We are so blessed to have such an awesome church family. We need a miracle in our finances and healing in our bodies right now. Please continue to be in prayer for us that our miracle is on the way.

Please be in prayer for my brother Shannon. He hurt his knee at work and went to the orthopedic surgeon today. He has torn cartlidge and is having sugery in the morning to repair the damage. More importantly please pray that he will find God. He is a non-believer and needs salvation in his life.

I am actually responding to an email concerning being able to afford prescriptions. There is a plan at Walgreens that you can purchase for $25 yearly (I think it is an annual thing but not sure) That $25 is for one person and I think it is $35 for a family. They offer this to people with no or little prescription coverage. You can get your prescriptions for like $12.99 for a 90 day supply. If I am not mistaken, it is generic drugs (same thing as the name brand)and they have a list of the drugs that are included on this Walgreen plan. You can get this info at any Walgreens. Walmart also offers some type of $4 deal on generics but I am not sure if that is with insurance or without. I really hope this helps....We will be praying for your situaiton.

My wife has a serious health condition that will become much more serious without the prescribed medication. Right now, we can barely put food on the table, let alone the added expense of the medication. Please pray that God will make a way for us to get her medication,or that he will heal her all together.
